OBJECTIVES OF RESPECT LIFE COMMITTEE

Treat all people with reverence for their value and dignity

Educate all parishioners, especially the youth, about life issues and create awareness for those in need, including the elderly, the handicapped, and most espe cially, the unborn.

Work for laws and policies to re lieve the economic burdens that pressure some women to obtain abortions, and encourage legisla tors to support all life-affirming legislation.

Help to change attitudes that accept abortion, euthanasia and assisted suicide as easy solutions to indi vidual and social problems.

Pray for the unborn, their mothers and our nation that we may all learn to promote solutions to human problems that respect hu man life and dignity.

Provide relief to those less fortu nate by organizing and partici pating in drives to gather useful goods to be distributed in areas where most needed.
