THANKSGIVING DAY
This coming Thursday is Thanksgiving Day. Mass will be at 9:00 a.m. only. Parishioners attending this Mass are asked to bring canned goods to be used at the St. Vincent de Paul Dining Room. Traditionally, the Thanksgiving Day collection taken that day will be given to the St. Vincent de Paul Society in our parish to help them carry out their good words for people in need. This is their main income for the year, and your monetary contributions are greatly appreciated. A special Thanksgiving Day envelope can be found in your packet of Church envelopes. It may be returned on Thanksgiving Day or in the Sunday collection. Your generosity is appreciated.

"In those days, I, Daniel, heard this word of the Lord: 'At that time there shall arise Michael, the great prince, guardian of your people.'"

Question of the Week: Where do you best encounter the sacred: in church, in relationships, or elsewhere?

Faith Response: Walk in a park. Hug a tree. Buy a potted plant. Thank a farmer. But whatever you do, get a little closer to the natural world and let creation teach you about the Creator.
