MAY APPEAL
TARGET WEEKEND
The May Appeal is the annual fundraiser used at Christ the King Parish to help maintain/improve our Parish properties. Last year, due to your generous contributions, we were able to replace the flat roof over the convent and church and complete the sidewalk project. We were also very pleased to construct a new Adoration Chapel. The projects for this year have already begun. The replacement of the floor and carpeting in the Upper Church has just been completed. Other projects include the ongoing maintenance to the heating system in the church, updating the organ with new electronic controls, and updating of the computer lab in the school.
The May Appeal letters have gone out to all parishioners. We would appreciate a minimum contribution of $100 per family, but any contribution within your means will be gratefully accepted. Your continued cooperation and generous response to the needs of the parish helps us realize our goals and plans to improve our Parish community. We thank God for the many blessings He has bestowed on us, and we ask for your generous and positive response to this appeal.

WE'RE UPDATING OUR PARISH WEB SITE
Our parish web site is in the process of being updated and improved by a group of volunteers at Christ the King. This group is asking for assistance from other parishioners who may be skilled in one or more of the following areas:
¢ Programming - First and foremost we need help developing a site template and interface that can be easily managed and updated by our volunteers. If you have programming experience and are familiar with web applications such as Dream Weaver, etc., here¹s a chance to help your parish with your technical expertise.
¢ Writing, Design, Photography - In order to keep our site continually up to date, we are seeking input from every aspect of our parish community. This requires writers to gather information and write about the various ministries, committees and so forth. Artists may be needed for help with graphic design. Photography of the many events and activities at our parish will help enhance our web site.
If you¹d like to join the CTK web team, we would welcome your talents and skills. Contact Marty Haumesser at 839-5349 for more information. E-mail: mhaumesser@quinlanco.com.

MAY APPEAL
The May Appeal is the annual fundraiser used at Christ the King Parish to help maintain/improve our Parish properties. Last year, due to your generous contributions, we were able to replace the flat roof over the convent and church and complete the sidewalk project. We were also very pleased to construct a new Adoration Chapel. The projects for this year have already begun. The replacement of the floor and carpeting in the Upper Church has just been completed. Other projects include the ongoing maintenance to the heating system in the church, updating the organ with new electronic controls, and updating of the computer lab in the school.
Last weekend, the May Appeal Target Weekend, brought in a total of $46,461. Your continued cooperation and generous response to the needs of the parish helps us realize our goals and plans to improve our Parish community. We appreciate your response so far to this yearly appeal, and we would appreciate a minimum contribution of $100 per family, but any contribution within your means will be gratefully accepted. We thank God for the many blessings He has bestowed on us, and we ask for your generous and positive response to this appeal.
