PASTORAL COUNSELING
Pastoral Counseling is a specialized extension of the Church's ministry of pastoral care.
It combines counseling skill with a sensitive attention to the religious dimension of
life. I believe that each person is a physical, cognitive, emotional and spiritual being.
Personal problems can create excessive stress in daily living in one or more of these
areas. Are you struggling in your marriage? Anxious, stressed, depressed, grieving? Are
you concerned about alcohol, drugs, or sexual problems in yourself or someone you love? If
these or other issues are of concern, you are welcome to call for an appointment. Sliding
fee scale. Call Michele Jackson, OSF at 390-9836.
LIGHT A CANDLE FOR LIFE

CONSIDER MAKING MISSION AT CHRIST THE KING
DATES: Sunday, February 2nd through Saturday, February 9th
TIMES: 1 PM - 4 PM Sunday, February 2nd;
7 PM - 10 PM all other evenings
Mission has been characterized as a "time of renewal and deepening of one's
understanding of our Faith as Catholics." It can foster a greater awareness of Jesus
in YOUR life. It's an opportunity to share Him in a community of people who try to be more
Jesus-centered in their daily lives.
Mission "team" members have said that this program helped them get
re-acquainted with the Lord on a personal basis. This program is for you! With all the
pressures of daily activities, Mission offers a chance to take a retreat from life and
focus on your Faith.
Please register this week! We need 40 people to sign up in order to bring
Mission VII to CTK - call the Rectory Office at 839-1430, or Jerry and Maryann Peer at
