CATHOLIC CHARITIES APPEAL 2003
As of Tuesday, April 29th, 974 of the 2,200 families in our parish have donated $196,490 to Catholic Charities.
Although the Appeal Drive did meet its goal of $10.25 million, the need in our area is great. If you have not yet given, please consider increasing your donation this year by pledging a larger amount, & making payments in several installments. A gift of $100 is less than $2 per week - a gift of $250 or more would make you a Large Gift donor.
If you would like to make a donation, but feel that you cannot give enough to make a difference, please remember that every little bit helps. For more details on Catholic Charities, call 856-4494 or visit our website at www.ccwny.org.

THE MAY APPEAL
Target Date Weekend - May 17th & 18th

The May Appeal is the annual Fund-Raiser used at Christ the King Parish to help maintain/improve our Parish properties. Your continued cooperation and generous response to the needs of the parish helps us realize our goals and objective. Last year, due to your generous contributions, we were able to add Pre-K and to upgrade the heating systems. The sidewalks were replaced on the west side of the church and we completed our two-year project to upgrade the organ. This year we will continue on building maintenance with replacement of the flat roof over the convent and the church, and the sidewalks along Main Street will be replaced. We also will begin a multi-year project on maintenance of the heating system in the Church.
Letters to all parishioners will be sent out this week, and the target weekend for pledges and returns in May 17th & 18th. We would appreciate a minimum of $100 per family, but any contribution within your means will be gratefully accepted. Your continued cooperation and generous response to the needs of the parish helps us realize our hopes and plans to improve our Parish community. We thank God for the many blessings He has bestowed on us, and we ask for your generous and positive response to this appeal.

CATHOLIC CHARITIES APPEAL 2003
As of Tuesday, May 6th, 1,023 of the 2,200 families in our parish have donated $199,220 to Catholic Charities.

THE MAY APPEAL
The May Appeal is the annual fundraiser used at Christ the King Parish to help maintain/improve our Parish properties.
Last weekend, the May Appeal target weekend, brought in a total of $46,597, with responses from 412 of our 2200 families (less than ¼ of our parishioners).

CONGRATULATIONS!
On Saturday, May 24th, Rev. Mr. Lynn Michael Shumway, and Rev. Mr. Joseph Anthony Zalacca were ordained into the priesthood, by Bishop Henry Mansell at St. Joseph's Cathedral. We wish God's blessings on them and many productive years in service to God.
