A Bereavement Support Group, sponsored by CTK Bereavement Committee, has been organized for all persons grieving the death of a loved one. The program will consist of six sessions beginning Wednesday, September 10th and every other Wednesday through November 19th. The program will be held in the Church Library. WELCOME TO OUR NEW CHAPEL
FOR PERPETUAL EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
On June 3rd of this year CTK Parish celebrated our 3rd Anniversary of the Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel. We thank all those who are committed to Perpetual Adoration at Christ the King Parish. This summer a new, larger chapel was constructed, intended to enhance your adoration experience. We hope and pray that your visit to the new chapel continues to be highly spiritual.
The new chapel will begin to be used immediately following the 12:15 p.m. Mass this weekend. There will be an open house, prior to its opening after all masses this weekend.
The new chapel is located at the opposite end of the Church hallway near the convent. Please enter the chapel using the doors, which enter the church under the canopy between the church and the school. The doors leading into the Church will have a combination lock similar to the one now in use for nighttime hours.

FAVORS GRANTED THROUGH PERPETUAL EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
The Adorers of the Perpetual Adoration wish to thank Jesus for the following favors:
1) Thank you for my granddaughter's successful eye surgery;
2) Thank you for negative biopsy results;

ANOTHER REASON FOR WANTING TO SPEND 1 HOUR
WITH JESUS IN THE BLESSED SACRAMENT:
"Perpetual Adoration is a door always open. It is a sign of the open arms of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament always inviting, welcoming, and embracing each one who comes to Him. A door always open exposing the light of Divine Love in the monstrance defines the true meaning of the Incarnation. In the Blessed Sacrament, the Word continues to become flesh and dwell among us. Just as the babe lying in the manger, we can see in the Sacred Host the same "glory of an only Son, coming from the Father, filled with enduring love." -taken from "Letters to a Brother Priest"

RECHARGE YOUR SPIRITUAL BATTERY!
It's hard to imagine that just one short year ago we had Mission I. There are now 110 people that have made Mission at Christ the King. We are very excited to announce that Mission III will take place the evenings of October 4th-11th on the parish grounds.
Mission is a time for education, personal reflection, prayer, laughter and enjoyment. It is a wonderful spiritual event that offers you the opportunity to experience Jesus in a deeper sense in the company of fellow parishioners. It consists of an eight-night spiritual journey. Each night is different and includes speakers, liturgy and personal reflection.
With all the pressures of daily activities Mission offers a chance to take a break for yourself and focus on your Faith. While a commitment of time is required, people having completed Mission regularly comment how the week went by quickly and that the experience was very rewarding.
For more information please call Dennis & Cathy Lennon at 835-7638 or
Melissa at the rectory at 839-1430.
